Easter Day Ordination at St James Kerikeri. Bishop Jim was presider and preacher. The church was packed for both the Celebration of the Resurrection and the  ordination of  Pam Harrison-Boyd to the (transitional) Diaconate. Currently the clergy team is seriously girl-powered, assisted by the fact that three of them are Aussie Sheilas (Shirley, far left, Pam, behind Bishop Jim, and Pat between Pam & me (Ian). Also featured (from left) are Barbara (Pastoral Care, next to Shirley), Sandy (Priest), Yvonne (Vocational Deacon), Fiona (Transitional Deacon) and Flip (Worship Co-ordinator, below me). It was a beautiful morning for the service, and then it hosed down when we were enjoying a shared lunch.
