Joan explains the new Koru Walk: If your daily exercise brings you this way, call
in to St Francis Church and discover the Koru walk which has been created on
the lawn. Allow some time, (just one at a time, keeping to the current distancing
measures) and walk the path as it draws you to the centre, pause here, before
making your way back out around the spiral.
Labyrinths of various shapes and sizes have been used for contemplative walks for
hundreds of years. They are found at churches and cathedrals all over the world.
We invite you to walk the Koru labyrinth with an open mind and an open heart.
There is no right or wrong way, simply enter and follow the path, and allow it to lead
you to the centre and then return. Open yourself to the experience with gracious
attention.
