Collaborative Ministry Course 2015

Once again the Enabling team will be offering a 5 day course in working collaboratively in ministry. This education is not simply for Local Shared Ministry units, but for all church leaders who would like to assist their congregations to develop from being “ministered to”  to ministering communities exercising their spiritual and personal gifts mutually. Our goal is to equip leaders with resources for facilitating this  change process.

Participants come from across the Dioceses and Tikanga, and also internationally. Provided there are sufficient enrolments we hope to offer a scholarship opportunity for someone from one of our Local Shared Ministry units to benefit from this course. Please talk to your Enabler if you are interested in being considered for this scholarship or would like to know more. Your administrator should have received the enrolment leaflet electronically.

The course runs Mon-Fri 27 – 31 July at Vaughan Park Anglican Retreat Centre, Long Bay. Most participants live-in.

Over 100!

For two days in a row we have received pages views numbering over 100 for the first time, and most of them are from the USA! Little old Aotearoa, though, does come in second.

Updates for music choices and Lectionary reflections bring us to June 14 today.

ANZAC day inspiration

We have permission to share with you this picture of an ANZAC floral display at St Paul’s Whangaroa (Part of the Kerikeri LSMU). Note the lovingly knitted poppies! Thanks to the Revd. Margaret Williams for supplying the picture, and to the talented florist. Margaret writes “St. Pauls had one young man killed named Vivian Shepherd, killed at Gallipoli.”
